Provide evidence of the local impact of a new business incubator, in order for the client to determine the appropriate plan for the future
Project Background
As part of a review of a public funded incubator facility there was a need to assess the local impact, and benchmark the performance of the service against other similar projects in the UK
Burgundy Gold completed a full impact study by identifying a number of equivalent centres, carrying out both telephone and face to face interviews with key stakeholders. A core aspect of the project was to assess the performance against the range of criteria that were specifically relevant for the local community, and provide a framework for the on-going development plans.
A key part of the review involved the facilitation of a focused workshop that captured the views of the organisations decision makers, which resulted in identifying a number of areas where long term opportunties could create significant added value for the clients of the incubator.
